Untitled Myth No. 2 #fiction

She died, and her soul was taken up by another living body. Three days later, the woman’s hair turned golden and grew to her feet. She ran out to the graveside, on the cliffs above the sea, and let down her hair. It puddled on the ground at her feet. She pulled a little and it made a stiff ladder. She set her feet on it and began climbing. As she climbed, her hair grew and she rose into the sky. The sky opened above her and heaven’s glow shone down upon her and the angels could be heard singing.

Her children came running from the church and watched as their mother’s soul ascended bodily into heaven (in another’s body).
