Why I Believe in Vaccinations

Grave marker of pioneer children who died of black diptheria in the 1870s

This is a marker outside a pioneer gravesite at Three Forks State Park in Montana.

This is a new marker. The old one explained that it marked the site where 8 (I believe) children were buried in a mass grave by their pioneer parents after the children all died in one night.

Diptheria is a terrible disease. You basically choke to death as the disease causes a membrane to grow across your throat and you can’t breathe.

Can you imagine those parents, watching their children all choke to death as they watched helplessly, wondering if they would be next?

This is what vaccinations prevent.
