This Week’s Reading

Wedding Season: Katie Fforde — very good beginning, I hope it keeps up: finished — very good
Riding Shotgun: Rita Mae Brown — I’ve wanted to read this for ages, I hope it’s good.: finished — not as good as some of her other books, but very good.
The Hunt Ball: Rita Mae Brown — finished — excellent
Lavinia: Ursula K. Le Guin (my husband seems to be reading all she has written, and this looks good)
The Blue Sweater: Bridging the Gap Between Rich and Poor in an Interconnected World: Jacqueline Novogratz — a rare foray into non-fiction books, recommended by a friend.: finished, read review
Died in the Wool: Rett MacPherson: finished
The Yellowlegs: The Story of the United States Cavalry: Told in terms of its Bold and Colorful Leaders from Light-Horse Harry Lee to Black Jack Pershing: Richard Wormser — looks good. Leapt out at me from the stacks on the way to the other non-fiction book.
