I have added the new PDFs for January from the Food Safety and Inspection Service to my page about their salmonella testing program.
The good news is that the lists aren’t getting longer. The bad news is that the same eleven processing plants have been on the category 2 list since November of last year, when I started this. (A twelfth processing plant was on in November, but presumably improved since it is gone from both lists now.) And the same three processing plants have been on the category 3 list since November, too.
I wonder how long the plants can stay on these lists before FSIS will take action.
